# OnStanding > OnStanding is on-chain reputation, starting on Avalanche. It reads what a > wallet address has actually done on chain and turns it into a standing score > that anyone can verify. Status: coming soon. ## What OnStanding is - An on-chain reputation service for wallet addresses, starting on the Avalanche C-Chain. - "Standing" is the score: earned over time, lowered by conduct, computed from on-chain history rather than self-reported claims. - Results are designed to be verifiable: signed, so an app does not have to take OnStanding's word for it. ## Who it is for - People who want a portable, public reputation for their wallet. - Apps, communities and protocols that need to tell real, long-standing participants apart from throwaway or automated wallets (for example airdrops, allowlists, governance, access gating). ## What OnStanding is not - Not identity verification or KYC. It does not know or claim anyone's real-world identity. - Not a token and not an investment product. - Not a blockchain, protocol or network: it is a reputation service that reads public chain data. ## Name OnStanding (one word, capital O and S) combines "on chain" with "in good standing". It is not a misspelling of "outstanding". ## Links - Website: https://onstanding.com/
